Teemo is a fictional character that appears in the ever so popular MMO “League of Legends”. Created by Riot Games in 2009. Teemo is one of the many champions you can play as. Teemo is considered one of the most frustrating champions to play against, by staying solo top and never leaving, allowing him to get to your inhibitor. Teemo also avoids banks easily and never leaves his lane. Teemo is also an effective counter as he and stop melee and ranged attackers my using his blind.
For the Teemo costume, I will focus on replicating a very good interpretation of a cosplay I recently saw. I will leave links below to all the products used to make this costume along with descriptions on the items quality as well.
Teemo costume hat
The Teemo hat, I got on amazon. For off this took a while to arrive so be prepared to wait. For $10 this is amazing. It made from so it feels very soft. It was quite big as well. As it is made from cotton, it not very rigid and it tends to sag down a bit. It looks exactly as described and very much like the Teemo hat. Overall I thoroughly recommend this, a must for the Teemo costume.
Green racerback tank top
For the top, I went with a racerback tank top. I got this on amazon. A very affordable tank top. It doesn’t say on the page what materials are used to make this but what I can tell it seems to be a mixture of polyester and spandex. The sizing was fairly accurate. Overall a good racerback tank top, a nice addition to the Teemo costume.
Teemo orange scarf
Teemo wears a bright orange style scarf. I got my scarf on amazon. It is a vibrant orange like the one Teemo uses. It is made from cotton but I saw one of the reviews say that polyester is written on the tags and when I got mine it said the same but it still feels comfortable to wear around the neck and it was cheap in the first place so I’m ok with it. The sack is quite long and wraps around your neck a few times which is what I wanted. Overall I’m happy with my purchase as it works with the Teemo costume.
Teemo’s weapon of choice is a blowgun. I got mine on Etsy. There were very affordable at just $5. You can easily make your own if you wanted to. I will link a video below to how to make one as he made one for under $3.
For the green shorts, I got on amazon. These were again, much like many of the items here was very affordable. They were slightly brighter than I had hoped but it still looked good with all the other products combined. They are made from rayon, nylon, and spandex. They’re the perfect length that I feel comfortable in, though any shorter and have to pass. They also have a nice stretch that gives a seamless fit. Overall a good pair of shorts.
To finally finish off the Teemo costume, we are going to need a pair of boots, I wanted to keep the green tone of the Teemo costume going so I went with API of green lace up boots, I found on amazon. These were expensive but I sold mine off on eBay when I was finished with them. The were a comfortable fit for the most part and didn’t take long to break them in somewhat. The sizing is accurate but makes sure you are converting the UK to US sizes correctly. Overall a good pair of boots that are perfect for the Teemo costume.
